Industrial Deafness Paralegal (KL)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Industrial Deafness Paralegal to join our legal team, assisting in claims related to hearing loss and tinnitus caused by workplace noise exposure. This role involves supporting solicitors with case preparation, client communication, document management, and research to ensure smooth case progression. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury or industrial disease law, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to supporting clients through the claims process.
Key Responsibilities

Case Support
- Assist solicitors with all stages of industrial deafness claims, including gathering necessary client information, reviewing case details, and preparing documentation.
- Conduct initial client intake, collecting information on employment history, noise exposure, and medical background.
- Prepare, organize, and file legal documents such as client statements, medical records, and witness testimonies.

Client Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates on case status and responding to basic inquiries.
- Maintain regular communication to gather additional information, answer questions, and ensure clients feel supported.

Document and File Management
- Organize and maintain digital and physical case files, ensuring all records are up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible.
- Review, file, and manage medical reports, workplace assessments, and legal documentation in compliance with firm standards.

Legal Research and Evidence Gathering
- Conduct research on industrial standards, workplace noise regulations, and relevant case law to support claims.
- Collaborate with medical experts, audiologists, and other professionals to obtain necessary evidence supporting each case.

Administrative and Team Support
- Provide administrative support to the industrial disease team, including scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and managing deadlines.
- Coordinate with other departments as needed, such as finance and compliance, to ensure efficient case processing.
